9th WineOS - January 2024.

In the magical world of wine, gastronomic delights, and a friendly atmosphere, the ninth edition of WineOS passed with incredible success, breaking records and leaving an indelible impression on enthusiasts of oenological wonders. The relocation to the impressive Economic Center of Osijek-Baranja County brought a new dimension to this largest wine event in eastern Croatia, gathering over 130 exhibitors from seven countries, providing visitors with unforgettable experiences, and further paving the way for the development of wine culture in the region.

After the completion of the ninth edition of WineOS, the largest and most significant wine event in eastern Croatia, the results have delighted both organizers and participants.

This year's WineOS attracted the largest number of exhibitors to date. During the two-day fair on January 12 and 13, at a total of 101 exhibition spaces in the main hall, five in the smaller hall, and on the fair stage, more than 130 wine producers, spirit makers, delicacy producers, and other exhibitors from seven countries presented their products.

Visitors had the opportunity to enjoy fair workshops that included wine tastings from three countries, as well as introductions to olive oils and French cheeses. The culinary program on stage delighted attendees, featuring three young chefs from Osijek (Hrvoje Harač, Tihomir Bježančević, and Saša Ninković) presenting dishes with meat, fish, and vegan delights. Traditional Dalmatian dishes were prepared by Željko Neven Bremec, the president of the ŠKMER association in Split.

Boris Ocić, the president of the Organizational Committee of WineOS, expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the ninth edition, saying, "A big thank you to everyone who helped make WineOS in its ninth incarnation prove that we are all ready for new challenges and a new era in the wine story in Osijek, Osijek-Baranja County, and throughout Slavonia and Baranja."

Vinko Ručević, the conceptual founder and executive president of WineOS, added, "We are delighted with the excellent reactions from exhibitors and the audience, as well as the fact that we have received several constructive criticisms. The most important thing is that we already have partial information about business deals made at the fair, suggesting an expected growth."

Denis Despot, the executive director of WineOS, concluded, "Every year brings new challenges, especially when the venue changes. I am delighted with the excellent reactions from all sides. We are now familiar with the space and have a vision of how to make the jubilee WineOS even better, more attractive, and appealing to both exhibitors and the audience."

In terms of figures, WineOS took place on approximately 2800 square meters of the Economic Center. It accommodated 106 exhibition spaces and stages, where over 130 exhibitors and brands from seven countries were presented. Over the course of two days, more than 3400 guests, invitees, business visitors, protocol representatives, and journalists passed through the spaces of WineOS, bringing the total number of people, including organizers and exhibitors, to almost 4000.
